"...emphasizes the idea that figuration art today contains elements of abstraction and that it also follows no rules at all."

This idea is demonstrated in my work as I believe that I have not been following any certain rules to create my art which I think has brought out the best results. Not being bound by rules of art has allowed me to experiment further and try out new ideas using figures that may or may not work and in these different failures and successes, I have been able to understand abstraction art, furthering my knowledge and allowing me to explore areas of art that I have never thought about before.
