Debuffet's work has been my main inspiration due to the uniqueness of the colours and shapes throughout. I have been heavily inspired by the figures that he incorporates into his paintings with the thick black lines and block colours of blue and red. His work comes across as very imaginative and this has further inspired me to find a way to allow the viewer to use imagination while viewing my art. The mind seems to wonder around the whole painting which inspired me to put as much detail into my work, allowing the viewer to be engrossed in every corner of the work.
