I was drawn to the artwork of Bille because of the flat block colours he uses throughout his abstract work which give a nice contrast to the black lines used for the figures incorporated throughout. The use of materials such as oils and pastels influenced me to try something different in my own work. What I found similar to my work is the child like attitude it has, with its bright colours and its colouring book vibe. This is something I was very interested in while looking at his work.
