A Trip to the Baltic

Today I went on a day trip to the baltic to see the exhobitions put on by Rodney Graham and Holly Hendry. Graham mainly stayed within the area of potography, while Hendry was more sculpture. Graham was the overall favourite of mine, showing his photographs over giant light boxes, which really brought out the colours and the shapes in the picture. They were visually nice to look at. Hendry's sculptures all looked like they were based of the human body, especially the bone structure. The image of bones is an obviously an influence to her and the objects wedged into the body parts made me think about how technlogy and things we take for granted in every day life are now part of us. They were pleasing to view and enabled me to view the typical human bones in a different light.
