I recently came across the artist Fiona Rae and he bouncy and energetic paintings, which I was immedietely drawn to. The way she uses pale colours contrasted with bold colours is something i am very interested in experimenting with. Furthermore, the contrast between the backgrounds of her paintings totally juxtapose the dark silhouette like shapes and branches which seems to relate very easily to the format of some of my paintings. I can see myself being hughly influenced by her in the future and i am excited to see where my art goes now i have a lot more ideas.
