Small Touches of Pure Colour

As a starting point for my project for my second year, I want to look more into impressionism and what it is. On the website www.artmovements.co.uk, impressionism is described as "a style in which the artist captures the image of an object as someone would see it if they just caught a glimpse of it". taking this into consideration and using the methodology of "small touches of pure colour", I set out with the bare minimum of knowledge to paint something I could compare myself to at the end of the module.
